4 firm, large Jersey Fresh tomatoes
1/2 medium onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped fine
1/2 cup cilantro, coarsely chopped
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/8 tsp sugar (or to taste)
Juice of 1 large lime
Corn chips to dip
- Grate tomatoes using a hand grater (or finely chop)
- Grate onion (or finely chop)
- Add the garlic, jalapeno, cilantro, salt, sugar and lime
- Refrigerate until serving time.
- Serve with corn chips
Best if flavors blend in refrigerator for an hour before serving.
